Change of project

Departure from original project proposed on application:

The original project was to investigate the regulation of endothelial cell function by tetraspanins and the 'molecular scissor' ADAM10.  However, having spoken to Dr Tomlinson before the start of my project, he explained that a more exciting one was available.

The previous project was assigned to a Masters student in Dr Tomlinson's lab, which no longer looks so promising as the mice endothelial cells don't behave like primary human endothelial cells.

So my new project will involve "characterising novel monoclonal antibodies to Tspan 14, a regulator of the 'molecular scissor' ADAM10."
